CHANDIGARH, PUNJAB (KP) - After exposing Nihung Poohla, retired officer Colonel Gurbir Inder Singh Sandhu (Head of the Ex-Servicemen Front) is working to get the SGPC to take action against Baba Mann Pehova. Sandhu appealed that if Pehova Baba is not excommunicated from the Panth then he and others will start a movement and protest consisting of representatives of the entire Sikh Panth.
Colonel Sandhu told the reporters that he has been assured by the Jathedar of Takhat Damdama Sahib of Talwandi Sabo, Balwant Singh Nandgarh, that Pehova will not be allowed to attend or join any of the programs being held there.
The Jathedar said that Pehova has collected hundreds of thousand rupees from foreign countires and has committed ghastly deeds. He said that legal action should also be taken against Pehova for taking advantage of married/unmarried girls. He said if Pehova is not excommunicated from the Panth at the least, or given any punishmets for his deeds, then this jathebandi will be on the road and the publicity will only give a bad name to the Sikh Panth as a whole.
