Calgary, Canada (KP) - Facing flak from Panthic organizations, controversial pseudo-missionary Sarbjit Dhunda, who is currently visiting Canada, is desperately trying to save face by stating that he fully supports Sri Akal Takht Rahit Maryada and the required daily Nitnem Banis – yet this is far from the truth. The Panth needs to stay vigilant against the nefarious designs of such heretics.
Not surprisingly, the modus operandi of Sarbjit Dhunda is similar to his mentor’s, Gurbakhsh Kala-Afghana, in which venomous ideas are surreptitiously sprinkled throughout their seemingly constructive message. The venom is usually targeted against the concepts that are sacred in Gurmat and Sikh tradition, this includes the concept of Simran, Amrit-Vela, respect and reverence of Sri Guru Granth ahib Ji, Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Dasam Bani, Shastars.
ATTACKS SRI DARBAR SAHIB KIRTAN
Take for example the universal veneration by the Sikh Nation for Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, where there there is a continuous showering of divine verses of Gurbani day and night. For ages, Sikhs have prayed for the blessed “darshan” and “ishnaan” of Sri Darbar Sahib and it’s Amrit Sarovar. Countless Sikhs have sacrificed their lives to uphold the sanctity of this holy of holies. During the 1980’s one of the key demands of the Panth during the ‘Dharam Yudh Morcha’ was the relay of sacred Gurbani via radio to Sikhs far and wide.
In contrast, such veneration and reverence for the Amrit Bani from Sri Darbar Sahib has never been accepted by the Kala-Afghana/quasi-Missionary lobby. Below is Sarbjit Dhunda’s barefaced view regarding Gurbani that is recited at Sri Darbar Sahib continously.
In the above video, Dhunda shamelessly insults Gurbani and alleges that verses of compositions recited at Sri Darbar Sahib would bring prostitutes and harlots to shame. Another words, Dhunda alleges, that the Gurbani being recited at Sri Dabar Sahib is of such low grade that it is even beneath the level of a prostitute.
It is utterly hypocritical to see an individual who on one hand loathes our sacred Gurbani to such a demeaning level now in desperation to explain his position on Sri Jaap Sahib. He has never felt the need to clarify his stance on Sri Jaap Sahib before, in fact he has been often cited as a vociferous critic of this baani.
After all, Sri Jaap Sahib is the first compositions of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in sacred scripture of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib – the very granth that has become the prime target of the Kala-Afghana/quasi-Missionary lobby that Dhunda is intimately intertwined with. He has never muzzled or condemned his close associates who openly condemn Sri Jaap Sahib on a daily basis. Why is Dhunda all of a sudden in a frantic dizzy to show his love for Jaap Sahib now?
SAME VENOMOUS MESSAGE NEW FACE
For the Kala-Afghana missionary lobby, Dhunda is the man they have been looking for - he is their ideal parcharic who can enter the Panthic mainstream to spread their vitriolic message.
Unlike the their previous aging godfathers Gurbaksh Kala-Afghana, Joginder Sawnhey, and Ragi Darshan, all of whom have been excommunicated from the Panth and had been mired by various controversies related to alcoholism, attempted rape, womanizing, and financial impropriety, Sarbjit Dhunda is young and charismatic and not much known of his past – at least not yet.
Amusingly, he has published his “clarification” about his views on Jaap Sahib on websites operated by Kala-Afghana/Missionary lobby. In his statements Dhunda declared that he and his companions of the ‘Gurmat Gian Missionary College’ (Ludhaina) have always abided by and promoted the Sikh Rahit Maryada :

Yet, the so-called Professor Inder Ghagaa of this same missionary institution went on Indian Nation television and alleged that Sri Jaap Sahib was a product of Hindu Granths such as Markande Puran, Shiv Puran, and “others”.

The principle of ‘Gurmat Gian Missionary College’ (Ludhaina), “Principle Gurbachan Singh Thailand”, another vitriolic quasi-missionary parcharic, while promoting his college’s missionary accomplishments, stated that his institution works closely Singh Sabha Canada and others to spread their message to the masses.
It is well know that Singh Sabha Canada, run by the illiterate Gurcharn Jeonwala, has been spewing anti-Gurmat venom for several years. His latest and most serious attack against Sri Dasam Bani is the mocking of the sacred Sri Jaap Sahib Bani by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Following the footsteps of pseudo Nirankari cultist Gurbachan Sinh, who also mocked Gurbani in similar manner in the 1970’s which eventually led to violent clashed between the the Sikhs and the heretic Nirankaris.

Fearing further backlash, Sarbjit Dhunda has tried to distance himself from Singh Sabha Canada and reportedly told his acquaintances in Calgary that does not agree with what Jeonwala did in.
Sarbjit Dhunda’s views on Kirtan recitation at Sri Darbar Sahib are clear proof that he is no different that Jeonwala, Ghagga, Thailand, and the dozens of other heretics are hell-bent on promoting their blasphemous ideology on Panthic stages.
Sarbjit Dhunda should not be allowed to utilize any Panthic platform. He needs to seek apology from the Sikh Panth in regards to his offensive remarks on Kirtan recitation at Sri Darbar Sahib and if he truly believes in the Sikh Rahit Maryada and Nitnem, then he must openly condemn and dissociate himself from Gurmat Gian Missionary College’ (Ludhaina), Singh Sabha Canada, and all the other heretics associated with the Kala-Afghana/Missionary lobby.
Does Sarbjit Dhunda have the courage and moral conscience to do that?
