Stockton, California (KP) – Following the exposé of the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat’s annual Prerna program in New Delhi, the Panthic Weekly has learned that individuals responsible for organizing the program will be visiting California on a special trip. News of Chaman Lal trying to infiltrate the Sikh Sangat based in California has not come as a surprise, as the RSS activist had no option but to leave India to hide from the fury of the Sangat based in Punjab and New Delhi.
Chaman Lal will be visiting California on a very short trip. It is learnt that a private residence in Los Angeles will he hosting him for one day and then he will head towards Gurdwara Nanaksar in Southern Fresno. He has been specially invited to hold kirtan programs for a week at the Gurdwara’s annual function. Two years ago, the same Gurdwara was responsible for allowing Chaman Lal to hold kirtan programs, when no other Gurdwara in California allowed him on stage.

There is a large uproar within the Sikh Sangat of California and different Panthic Organizations have decided to receive Chaman Lal with “full fervor”. So far, most major Gurdwara Sahibs in California have already denied Chaman Lal permission to hold diwans. Local sevadars based in the central valley of California are in the process of getting the diwans of Chaman Lal cancelled.
Sikh Sangat of California is appealing to their brethren to boycott Chaman Lal and his kirtan program. No Sangat should invite Chamal Lal and his family to their residence for any purposes. Following the dedication shown by Singhs of Punjab and New Delhi, Sikh Sangat of California should work with the same spirit to reject Chaman Lal from California.
